2400年，紋章族的宇宙船被机械生命体占领，前往救助地球宇宙船也遭到攻击，幸存的只有紋章族少女、対魔道戦士官以及一位地球改造人。他们要做的就是营救紋章艦中的船员并消灭占据那里的机械生命体。

The story revolves around Nikolai, apparently a part-cyborg; Galory, a young boy who apparently is part human/part Crest person, and Althea, who is entirely a Crest person. Seems the Earth and the Crest people were at war for 300 years so there's still a lot of bad feelings present. The ship Galory, Nikolai and others are on is ambushed and almost everyone killed by some kind of automated attack ships from a huge Crest ship that has been taken over by an automaton. Galory, Nikolai and Althea go to the ship to try and see if there are any survivors of an advanced party from Galory's ship that can be saved, and to see if they can destroy the Type 38 automaton in the ship's core.

Über 300 Jahre lang befand sich die Menschheit in einem schrecklichen Krieg mit den Crest, welche die Menschheit fast vernichtete. Im letzten Moment konnten sich beide Seiten auf einen Frieden verständigen. Doch das Kämpfen hat damit noch kein Ende gefunden. Sogenannte Automatons haben die Kontrolle über einige Kriegsschiffe der Crest übernommen und kämpfen nun selbstständig weiter.

西暦2400年代、地球人類は紋章族（ハルマ・クフツ）との戦いに敗れ、現在はその占領下にあった。紋章族の救助中だった戦艦テトラスケリオンは、狂った機械生命オートマトンに支配された紋章艦に奇襲され、ガロリイ、ニコライ、ジェニングスのみが生き残るが、ジェニングスは第二次攻撃で死ぬ。 ガロリイは戦力増強のため、救助した紋章族の少女アルテアを呪文で目覚めさせる。ガロリイとアルテアは敵紋章艦の中枢にいるオートマトンの破壊のため、ニコライは生存者救出のため、それぞれ敵紋章艦に突入する。

이야기는 부분적으로 사이보그인 니콜라이와 부분적으로 인간/부분적인 크레스트 사람인 것으로 보이는 어린 소년 갈로리와 완전히 크레스트 사람인 알테아를 중심으로 전개된다. 지구와 크레스트 사람들은 300년 동안 전쟁을 치렀던 것 같아. 그래서 아직도 나쁜 감정이 많이 남아 있어. Galory, Nikolai 등이 타고 있는 배는 매복 공격을 받고 있으며, 거의 모든 사람들이 자동 조종기에 의해 점령된 거대한 Crest 선박의 일종의 자동 공격 선박에 의해 죽임을 당한다. 갈로리와 니콜라이, 알테아는 갈로리의 배에서 구할 수 있는 선진 부대의 생존자가 있는지, 그리고 배의 핵심에 있는 38식 자동장치를 파괴할 수 있는지 알아보기 위해 배로 간다.

A Terra e os Crest estiveram em um guerra por 300 anos, e desde então, nunca conseguiram se entender. No entanto, uma emboscada mata vários tripulantes de uma nave, fazendo com que seus dois tripulantes sobreviventes resgatem Althea, uma Crest que tinha acabado de ser promovida em sua nave. E que ironicamente, era a mesma que havia iniciado o ataque.
