Personally I blame Sony for this, everything they touch turns to crap. Sony and Colombia Pictures are the worst studio, every time I see their logos at the start of a movie I know it will be a sh!tshow. But there is also a lot of blame on Ruben Fleischer as a director, if you can even call him that. Directing collection of comedic sketches instead of a coherent movie with a plot, characters and some meaning is all he ever done before. Seriously, Zombieland and Venom?

Uncharted is a typical Hollywood money grab and exactly what is wrong with Hollywood studios. They find fanbase to exploit, few big names to attach, throw some money at it to produce, invest heavily into marketing and sell this crap in a nice package. What story? What characters? Who cares about that, it's just a hackjob to grab some cash and crap on a fanbase. How many of those are being ruined every year by Hollywood's lack of respect? And there are always more suckers and more fanbases to crap on, everyone will get their turn.
