In the Connery era it was a new Bond movie every year, then it later settled on a Bond movie every 2 years, after Brosnan we waited 4 years til Casino Royale, then came a sequel 2 years later, yay back to normal, then came a wait of 4 years til Skyfall and a gap of 3 years til Spectre.

Craig’s run has really been messed up, I hope if they cast a new Bond we go back to the cycle of a Bond movie every 2 years, there’s still content from Fleming that could be filmed and plenty of later books from writers such as Kingsley Amis, John Gardner, Raymond Benson etc
