The Royal Family in the United Kingdom go to Pinewood (not Hollywood) Studios, the media is a tool they use.
Obviously at the moment with Prince Andrew not cooperating with the FBI, the royals use the fantasy to promote UK.
Even in the script, i can even see certain lines in the trailer that is pertaining to this point.
The USA lost a lot of credibility since the all the wars began, and even watching of media, there is a process of covering up, which the fantasy of bond plays to.
When IMDB has commenting discussion on the website, people spoke a lot of these kind of issues from Hollywood. I am pretty sure that is why the discussion board was removed.
When ever we would watch complicated films like Guy Ritchie " Revolver (2005) ", the plot was really confusing, it was so useful to have IMDB discussion board for films to be broken down and explained. In fact that was the best part of IMDB's website which they took down. I hope there is more websites like themoviedb.org

When imdb shut down the user base split largely between here, MovieChat.com & http://imdb2.freeforums.net. Both the of the later two have specific politics chat boards. Both this and moviechat have specific film chat boards.
This site has always been my favourite of the three - I like the interface best and the integration of a film's information, e.g. release, starring, etc with the discussion board. It's the only one of the three that does that.
Unfortunately this place had a huge troll problem not long after the IMDb closure and hasn't ever really recovered, in terms of regular message board users, so I land up scooting between the three when I watch something new...
If imdb brought the discussion back there is an open dialogue. The studios get to read the public reaction, etc. Sure there will always be alternative views, but that should not mean blocking the lot.
In reality the top dogs at Hollywood, prefer to dictate to the public what to watch, setting up talking points that their system wants.
So much culture in the world, variety and alternative thought, yet Hollywood still run the stagnant repetitive sequel formulae. The new Fast and Furious trailer is an example of dumber, that will be watched.
The public are saturated with images, some of the best creative ideas are now on internet only, where Television and Film have a prescribed paradigm.
I miss the good old days of the imdb forums. Anyway, yeah I honestly think they were thinking of making a black female Bond and that this was a test to see how people react. Didnt go to well I think. But they do need a new Bond after this and I want to see Henry Cavill.

There is something where the real world situation is not the fantasy of Bond films.

Films are fantasy. Even realistic ones.

Personally I could do without any more Bond movies, the character is played out for years now. However Henry Cavill would make a fantastic Bond.
