I think they should recast her, because if she were a man they would have fired her along time ago. Amber might even be facing jail time. If she's imprisoned, she obviously needs to be replaced.

See the problem with Heard is that she used her 'abuse' story to gain money and sponsorships. She became a advocate for abuse victims while all along knowing she was the abuser. It goes way beyond just abusing someone. She literally tried to destroy his life and his ability to make a paycheck. And succeeded. Have you heard the tapes? Its disturbing. Not to mention his poor kid in school getting bullied because his dad is a wife beater. But we all know nothing is going to happen to her, she will pay a couple of million in damages and go back to making films because shes a woman.

I feel weird about weighing in on an issue I care absolutely nothing about, but movies are reliant on publicity to sell their product. If an actor's personal issues are great enough that the public becomes aware of them, and the perception is decidedly negative, then the producers of a movie in pre-production are very likely to consider removing them from their schedule. In fact, that seems to be exactly what happened to Depp himself after his monetary and personal problems a few years back. A once "hot" actor seems to have been largely set aside. It's not personal, but rather business. If you can put an actor in their place that doesn't have the baggage, you could possibly increase your box office by millions.

I've heard the tapes, and seen video footage of her deposition where that temper becomes readily apparent. We've also got video footage of Depp acting like a lunatic in their kitchen, and the fact that both of these two have priors against previous partners, interspersed with relationships where they apparently didn't scrap with their partners at the time. Ex. There's no indication that Depp ever brawled with Vanessa Parradine, as seemed to be the case with Kate Moss. There's no report of Amber Heard engaging in fisticuffs with Elon Musk, whereas things seemed to have gotten combustible with her photographer ex-girlfriend

As to the money she bilked out of different folks via the aid of this melodrama and the sponsorships she received.... Those who gave her the cash are free to sue her in civil court, and whoever handed her the sponsorships can withdraw them now. just as they'd do with a male celebrity. None of this lends itself to the catharsis we might yearn for, it's true. True equality(where we deal out justice to everyone the same, regardless of gender)has a tendency to not lend itself to cheap visceral thrills

And here is the problem, there is no true equality. People are treated differently based on their skin, their gender, and most importantly their bank accounts. Nothing you described will happen to her, why? Because shes a woman. When this first came out how many of Depps Exs and kids came out and said bullshit? This man was black listed and dragged thru the mud. All while having his own demons and issues on top of everything else. True justice would be Heard paying out the huge settlement, and being black listed as he was. But that wont happen, again, because shes a woman, oh a gay woman now, so lets use that as a shield as well. GTFO.

I swear if Depp goes to rehab and gets his things together he could be the new RDJ.

Well we will see how this plays out. I think the court date is in August if Im remembering correct. But one thing is for sure, Elon got lucky that he bailed on Heard when he did. Had some fun and than was like 'nah this girl is nuts.' I hope Depp gets some justice, any would do at this point. And I hope he does get help and makes a huge come back. He has the potential to do it, just needs that will power.
