SMAP×SMAP was an ongoing weekly Japanese variety show on Kansai TV and Fuji TV starring the members of SMAP. The show began on April 15, 1996 and it aired from 22:00 to 22:54 every Monday. The show's usual ratings were higher than 20%, which is considered high since most variety shows range from 10-20%.

Each episode begins a variety of skits, comedic performances, and/or games.  These are followed by Bistro SMAP, in which the SMAP members compete against each other to impress celebrity judges with their gourmet cooking.  Last is a musical performance by SMAP which may include celebrity guests, as well.

Tytuł ten opowiada losy młodzieńca imieniem Tanjiro, który po śmierci ojca mieszka tylko z matką i siostrą, Nezuko. Pewnego dnia gdy wraca do domu Tanjiro odkrywa, że jego rodzicielka została zamordowana, a siostra zamieniona w demona. Okazuje się jednak, że Nezuko nadal przejawia czasami ludzkie cechy. Młodzieniec wyrusza w podróż, której celem jest wyplenienie krwiożerczych demonów, oraz uratowanie siostry.

Mushi - stworzenia, które mogą żyć wszędzie, jednak nie są podobne do żadnych innych organizmów. Łączy je z nami jedynie to, iż żyją. Niektóre są nieszkodliwe dla ludzi, inne pasożytują na nich. Większość osób nie zdaje sobie nawet sprawy z ich istnienia, gdyż nie są w stanie ich zobaczyć, inni boją się ich niczym demonów, pozostali, którzy są w stanie je zobaczyć, chronią ludzi przed ich działaniem, a nazywają się oni mushishi. Do ostatniej z grup należy bohater anime - Ginko, zajmuje się badaniem mushi oraz pomaga ludziom radzić sobie z problemami, których przysparzają. Bohater nie jest jednak normalnym Mushishi, gdyż swoją obecnością przyciąga mushi, przez co nie może pozostać na dłużej w jednym miejscu.

27 year old Adachi Momoko lost both her parents in an accident when she was in third year high school. She then gave up going to college and has been working at a home centre for the past nine years while supporting her three younger brothers who are now 20, 17, and 14 year old respectively.

Tobio Masubuchi and his friends are ordinary high school students. Due to an incident, their peaceful days are about to change. Tobio’s friends are beaten by students from another high school in their neighborhood. Tobio and his friends scheme to get back the students from the other school. The day they are to carry out their plan, they see the other high school engulfed in flames. Tobio and his friends become suspects.

Sawako (Ryoko Hirosue) was dumped by her husband and since then she has raised her three sons alone. One day, she happens to meet a young man (Sota Fukushi) who is dying. She falls in love with him at first sight. The young man also suffers from memory loss. Sawako names him Hoshio. Taking advantage of his memory loss, she decides to make him live with her and as the father of her three sons. Now, Sawako, her three sons, her grandmother and Hoshio all live together. Sawako hopes Hoshio never regains his memory. Hoshio also begins to develop feelings for her. Whenever Sawako has troubles, Hoshio helps her out with his mysterious ability. Hoshio's past is also a mysterious. A mystery that is finally revealed.

Hitsujitani Chiharu joined a big advertising agency after she graduated from a university. She experienced a hard time at her job due to harassment. After 3 years, Hitsujitani Chiharu decided to quit working at the advertising agency. She begins to work for a temp agency that is run by her aunt. There, she meets Kurusu Arashi, who works as a career adviser at the temp agency. He walks with a cane due to discomfort from his left foot, but he has a great reputation as a career adviser and his nickname is The Devil of Changing Jobs. He often makes biting remarks to people worried about changing jobs. Working with Kurusu Arashi and dealing with people who are looking to change jobs, Hitsujitani Chiharu also grows as a person.

Tatsuya Fujiwara plays a talented detective who trades hardened criminals for troubled teenagers. Placed in an unruly public junior high school, he gets to work contending with the many problems it faces and uncovers some more serious ones. While the detective tries to operate in the hard-line way he knows best, he finds himself confronted by a skeptical and fiery teacher, played by award winning actress Yoko Maki.
