Some Like It Hot is one of my favourite films, and was one of the first 'older' movies I saw and loved as a kid. Monroe is sensational, along with Lemmon and Curtis at their best.

Many of her other starring roles aren't all that good, although her presence usually makes a film at least worth a look. Other than SLIT most of her best films only feature small (but eye-catching) roles for MM - All About Eve and The Asphalt Jungle are classics in which she makes a big impression in a handful of scenes.

I do enjoy Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, and her segments of Monkey Business.

One of my fave Marilyn films is the Hitchcockian Niagara. She gives a memorable performance in it and, meanwhile, looks sensational.
