While walking down the street with a friend, Dami accidentally swallows Woo-yeo's fox bead. The next day, Dami moves in with Woo-yeo, hoping to find a way to return the fox bead to him.
Dami is shocked knowing that she could die if she fails to get the fox bead out of her body within a year, and Woo-yeo writes a contract to protect Dami and the bead. Dami struggles to survive in college among Tiger men.
Woo-yeo discovers a strange reaction of his bead to the woman where it’s currently settling. He also finds himself connecting to her emotionally, as Lee Dam empathizes with him as well.
Woo-yeo starts to get annoyed by Seon-u texting Dami, and Hye-seon tries to become a college student using Woo-yeo's magic, promising Woo-yeo that she will watch over Dami.
Dam feels love for Woo-yeo, and Woo-yeo, who was trying to keep his distance, also begins to feel special feelings for Dam. Woo-yeo is suspicious of a murder case in the downtown area that has become a issue.
Dam is disturbed by the thought that Woo-yeo doesn't understand her feelings. Dam goes on a blind date with a disturbed heart, and Dam's mother visits the house where Woo-yeo is left alone.
As Woo-yeo begins to feel hungry, Hye-sun tells him that keeping himself from physical touch would ease the hunger; Woo-yeo tells Dam to keep a distance to prevent his spirit from losing.
Dam can't seem to get off her mind from what happened last night and feels the need for a new label with Woo-yeo; as Woo-yeo's trick fails more often, he assumes that he's becoming a human.
