"La musica è diventata un argomento tabù dopo il cessate il fuoco con il D2 quattro anni fa. Ma un giorno, un ragazzo cresciuto senza conoscere la musica sente una melodia che proviene da un pianoforte, suonata da un giovane dai capelli neri chiamato Takt".

"Dieci anni fa, il D2 attaccò Boston e creò un bagno di sangue nella Boston Concert Hall, che passò nei libri di storia come la Tragedia di Boston. In questo attacco, il famoso direttore d'orchestra e padre di Takt, Kenji Asahina, perse la vita, al che l'ancora giovane Takt cominciò a barricarsi nel suo garage con il suo pianoforte".

"Al festival, durante l'esibizione congiunta di Takt e Cosette, c'è stato un attacco dei D2, facendo nascere Destiny. Nonostante quello che è successo, Takt, Anna e Destiny stessa non capiscono ancora molte cose che sono successe".

"Takt, Cosette e Anna partono dalla loro città verso New York per vedere l'irregolarità del destino. Addirittura, Lenny e Titan decidono di accompagnarli per insegnare loro alcune cose e finiscono per incontrare vecchie conoscenze lungo la strada".

"Dopo essersi separati da Lenny e dai Titani, i limoni e il loro gruppo continuarono il loro viaggio sotto il sole cocente. Alla fine della battaglia con D2, un treno della ferrovia transcontinentale si fermò improvvisamente. Poi hanno visto uno Zoner in armatura bianca e uno Zoner sorridente. L'uomo che accompagnava i due musicisti si chiamava 'Schindler' e sosteneva di essere il 'direttore principale' della New York Symphony Orchestra".

Takt and crew stop by a certain town. All of the young people had fled the town, leaving only the elderly. The residents happen to ask Anna and Destiny for help. Meanwhile, Takt wandered around town on his own and happens to hear a melody quietly resonating from an old bar. It was definitely the sound of music.

Anna and Destiny happen to see a town destroyed during their travels. D2s are awakening everywhere and attacking various towns and people, reverting the world back to four years ago, before Sagan's Declaration. As the threat from the D2s grew, Takt was obsessing over something. With a blank staff notation in front of him, Takt plays an imaginary keyboard as he desperately tries to create something.

D2s awakening. Takt's hometown being attacked, and Cosette's death. This was all a part of Sagan's plan. Shindler wants to get rid of all those inferior to him in this desolate world. After learning the truth about Cosette's death, Takt charges at Shindler in a blind rage. But Takt is injured by Hell. As she witnesses Takt injured and bleeding, Destiny feels some emotions welling up inside of her that she's never felt before...

Takt and crew finally reach their destination of New York. They reunite with Charlotte, Anna's older sister, who works for the Symphonica's technological development department. Charlotte begins to examine Destiny. Who is an incomplete Musicart. But then, Anna realizes something is wrong with Takt. The mark on Takt's right arm starts to spread to the rest of his body, and...

A giant Black Night Siderite starts to stir as Sagan hums a certain melody. The Black Night Siderite that grows as big as a tree starts to swallow up the New York Symphonica. Sagan has finally made his move to make his ambitions come true. As Takt and Destiny witness this eerie spectacle, they find out that Anna and Charlotte are still inside the Symphonica.

Destiny is terribly cruel. But no matter how much misfortune the gods torment me with, I will face my destiny. Because of that, I fought, and I fought, and I fought some more... And then, I finally found my answer. There truly was joy beyond the pain. Now, it is time for the performance to begin. I shall now wring destiny's neck. "From a certain man's memoirs"
