Australia, we are back! IBES starts at the beginning of the year on RTL. For twelve stars, the biggest adventure of their lives begins in the middle of the Australian jungle. Who will be king of the jungle in 2023?

Tessa Bergmeier has to compete in the "Hor-Rohr" jungle trial. The aim is to get as many stars as possible in an underground canal system.

Cecilia and Gigi are fed up with Verena, Djamila causes laughing fits with Papis and Claudia and Cosimo screams his way through the jungle trial "Shitstorm" with Tessa.

The bean dispute between Jana URKRAFT and Verena still reverberates, Claudia has contacted her deceased sister with the help of a medium, and Djamila tells that she often had to go hungry as a child.

With tactics and skill, Jana URKARFT fights her way through the "Fiesenrad". With little sensitivity Claudia and Verena pull over Cecilia. With tears in his eyes, Lucas talks about the death of his father...

On day 6 in the jungle, the stars dive into the world of Jana URKRAFT: Breathing circle, sound pot lid therapy, energy balls, lots of singing and chi gong - big emotions included. Claudia, Verena and Tessa swallow stars in "Pfui-Dora".

Fashion Week is underway in Berlin, and in the jungle, too, everything revolves around models and fashion. First, Tessa and Papis are ragging on Heidi Klum around the campfire, later Verena imagines a wedding party in a white dirndl.

On day 8, the time has finally come: A highlight of the annual Australian jungle season is the "Grand Prix of Murwillumbah". This year, the German-Italian trio Claudia, Gigi and Cosimo want to conquer the legendary race track.

Verena Kerth's selection comes as a complete surprise to the stars. No sooner has the radio presenter left than the remaining contestants have to choose for the first time who will take part in the jungle trial.

Cosimo and Gigi confess their nocturnal pizza-gate in the camp and earn a lot of incomprehension from the others, Lucas refuses the night shift and Cecilia gives her all in her jungle trial "Sturzfluch" and swears her head off.

After Tessa moves out, Jana URKRAFT calls for a revolution, Cosimo pours out his heart and Claudia and Djamila go on a treasure hunt. A very personal "Albtraumfahrt" awaits Gigi, Lucas and Papis.
