Rick and AJ are hired to investigate the death of an animal keeper, they go undercover at the zoo but become very suspicious of their client, a wealthy benefactor.

When Janet is assigned to her first murder case, she wants Rick and AJ to help her build an airtight case, but they've already been hired by the opposition-the accused man's defense attorney.

After she finds new evidence, AJ's former girlfriend shows back up in his life to have him and Rick look into her brother's death, which could possibly have been a murder, trouble is it was eighteen years ago and it uncovers more than that.

Rick refuses to give up his search for the $100,000 case of Don Diablo Wine Cooler when the contest's ad executive hires AJ to find it, making Rick and AJ rivals in the search.
