Saint Seiya Omega has 97 episodes. all of which were aired continually. There were no seasonal breakups.. Anime rarely actually has seasons, and the confusion comes because fans artificially break up series by seasons based on perceived story arcs (the opinion on which differs from viewer to viewer) or based on the marketing used in their home country (which varies from country to country). Some people even define seasons based on the opening theme song changes. This leads to users disagreeing on where season breakups should occur. Many anime here are currently broken up into seasons, but they eventually will be fixed. We're just trying to make some final decisions on how to do it. So for now, we'll leave the seasons for this series as they are and put it on the "to do" list. Thanks for letting us know of the issue!
English Wikipedia calls it 2 seasons, but Japanese Wikipedia calls it 1 (broken up into 4 sections). DVD releases in Japan didn't follow any season-type pattern. The DVD box set releases in Japan also did not follow any season-type pattern. The director and main writer changed, but that's about it. There wasn't even a break in time between these perceived "seasons".
At least, this is all as far as I can tell! :) Do you have other information to contribute?

Thanks for the response @orangeprincess.
I totally agree there are no season breakups in anime. I just report this based on the several websites having the same issue. I am a Plex user and I always try to use your services and contribute to your site and due to not having absolute ordering I had the need to split my own collection into fake season for the sake of parsing the data.
I hope you guys consider this absolute-ordering option so I think is the way to go for anime series.
Thanks again

Thanks for the feedback. Absolute ordering is what I'm pushing, and I think it's probably going to happen, but logistically we have to figure out how to make it happen! :)

Apologies for bothering again, but I was trying to finish editing the episodes for Spanish language and I forgot to say that season 2 currently starts at episode number 24 instead of number 1. Is this normal?

You're not a bother at all! Honestly, I have no idea why the numbering is like that. Very weird! The seasonal breakups make it really difficult to figure it out, too. As you enter Spanish info, just be sure the info belongs to the same episode described by the English and Portuguese data. As long as all three languages are "in sync" with each other, the weird numbering should be fixed when we combine the "seasons".
By the way, the continuous numbering has been approved! We're running tests right now to be sure the data doesn't get messed up when we make the change. Then we should be able to start changing all the series!! :)

Ok. Roger that. Wow!! Excellent news, maybe I should stop splitting up my collection then. Do you know when is it gonna be deployed to production and how is gonna work with parsers like Plex? Thanks

I don't really know about timing. Then each series has to be done one by one. The site itself is still undergoing an overhaul (as you've seen), and this takes up a LOT of the admin's time, so he's having to squeeze in time for the anime testing. So things happen on an irregular schedule. So I would probably just keep checking back and change your collection arrangement one by one as things get done here. As far as Plex, I don't know that either, but I'd just arrange your files however they're arranged on the site when the time comes, as with everything else. I'll be making the same attempt with my own collection. Sorry, I'm not terribly helpful, LOL.
