Далеч от градската суета, в живописна гора е разположена частното училище-пансион Логос. След зимната ваканция учениците пристигат в училището. Сред тях са Максим, Даша, Вики и Рома, коrто прекарват дълги години в Логос. Тази година за първи път сред учащите са Андрей и малката му сестра Надя. De actie vindt plaats in de regio Moskou op een oud adellijk landgoed, bijna 200 jaar geleden gebouwd door de edelman Scherbatov. Van 1945 tot 1953 was hier een speciaal opvangcentrum voor kinderen van “vijanden van het volk” gevestigd. Van 1953 tot 1980 begon weeshuis nr. 8 daar te werken. Na de sluiting stond het landhuis weer precies twintig jaar leeg. Eind 1999 werd het gebouw opgekocht onder een particulier elite-internaat, waarin de actie zich vandaag afspeelt.

De serie vertelt over het leven van studenten en docenten van het elite internaat 'Logos', gelegen op het oude landgoed van de edelman Shcherbatov, midden in een somber, maar pittoresk bos. In hun gesloten wereld zijn alle ervaringen veel acuter dan in het gewone schoolleven.

In het verhaal zijn er door de serie heen elf hoofdpersonen. In de loop van het plot blijkt dat elk van hen zijn eigen geheimen en skeletten in de kast heeft.

The action takes place in the Moscow region in an old noble estate, built almost 200 years ago by Scherbatov nobleman. After the October Socialist Revolution and until the end of World War II, the manor was empty. From 1945 to 1953 a special reception center for children of “enemies of the people” was located here. Then from 1953 to 1980, orphanage No. 8 began to work there. After its closure, the manor was again empty for exactly 20 years. At the end of 1999, the building was bought out under a private elite boarding school, in which the action unfolds today.

The series tells about the life of students and teachers of the elite boarding school "Logos", located in the old estate of Shcherbatov nobleman in the midst of a gloomy, but picturesque forest. In their closed world, all experiences are much more acute than in ordinary school life.

In the story, throughout the series, there are eleven main characters. In the course of the plot, it turns out that each of them has its own secrets and skeletons in the closet.

Сериал рассказывает о жизни учеников и преподавателей элитной школы-интерната, расположенной в старинной усадьбе посреди мрачного, но живописного леса. В их замкнутом мире все переживания намного острее, чем в обычной школьной жизни. Несмотря на внешнее благополучие, ребята, оторванные от родного дома, очень ранимы и зачастую одиноки. По вечерам они рассказывают друг другу страшные легенды о лесе, глухой стеной окружающем их школу, говорят, будто в нем водятся странные существа и бесследно пропадают люди. Очень скоро ребята узнают, что правда гораздо страшнее легенд.
