Overview

故事講述前搜査一課刑警トカゲ（松田）性格古怪不愛和人合作，為人神經質憤世嫉俗，但卻嫉惡如仇正義感是常人的兩倍，擁有超人記憶力，再配合壓倒性的身體能力解決不少疑難事件，然而一直被忽視。某次事件中其拍檔身亡，他為了負起責任而辭職，改當偵探事務所調查員。此時警視廳為了提高檢控率，聘用他進行潛入搜查，回歸刑事工作，以本格動作及變裝能力挑戰一連串案件，演出角色包括男公關、醫生、政治家秘書、囚犯等，有如變色龍或蜥蜴（トカゲ）。同時會慢慢揭開警方利用他搜查的謎底。
