I really like the show as well, but I'm not sure if it's going to get a second season.

I, too, am liking the series, and have become steadily more "in" to it the further along it gets. I have a hunch that the series probably won't get renewed, but agree with you, that I hope that it does, as now I'm curious about where things could potentially go.

The series doesn't seem to have gotten hardly any real buzz, other than its deluxe production values, and that sort of thing, getting a lot of praise.

There's so much story to tell, and I'll be so bummed if we don't get more of it.

I want to know why Jane got left behind and Dorothy and her mother were able to leave. Does the Wizard know that Jane is still in Oz because I feel like the first thing he would have done when he became leader of Oz would be to kill Jane since she knows who he really is?

Good questions, Mirror. I suspect that the series will wrap up the storylines pretty tidily during the season conclusion in a couple weeks, since the series was (according to articles I read about it weeks ago) created as a one-season complete "event." That having been said, my guess is that it was filmed and edited in such a way that, if the series had proven to be a big hit (which I gather that it hasn't been), that everything could have the potential for continuation.

By the way, I became really impressed by the actress who portrays West during the most recent episode. She proved, during it, that she's extremely talented.

Thank you for saying that. I created another discussion on this board about a plotline that I was worried wouldn't get wrapped up. Now I'm a bit relieved.

West is great, I think she's one of the most interesting characters and the actress is doing a great job with the material she's given.

I really hope you're right! Loved the show since the first episode, but would be (pleasantly!) surprised if t was renewed.

Been watching it too, I just hope it dosent end on a cliffhanger and most of its wrapped up, the production values and overall look of this series have been great, the slow pace of the story and acting let it down a little bit.
