Sissy and her friend Belinda are talking about the upcoming play. Sissy notices Neil, a guy that she has a crush on. Sissy gets pissed that Neil does not say hello to her and instead talks with Mandy. Belinda tells Sissy that Mandy is gay. Sissy flips out, but then Mandy comes over and wants to rehearse with Sissy. Sissy and Mandy are rehearsing and Mandy kisses Sissy as part of the act. Sissy is nervous and leaves. She tells Belinda what happened and then goes back to Mandy. Maggie comes by and Belinda tells Maggie what happened. Sissy comes back and Belinda reveals to her that she told Maggie about the kiss. Sissy is pissed because Maggie has a big mouth and now the school will make the assumption that she is a lesbian.

Sissy is freaking out that everyone thinks she is gay. Mandy thinks that she is and tries hitting on her, and Sissy freaks out. She's about to tell Mandy that she's not gay, but Mandy tells her that Neil only hangs out with lesbians. Sissy rethinks everything and realizes that if she tells Neil the truth, he will not give her the time or day. Neil and Sissy talk and she tries to hint at the fact that she is straight, but Neil doesn't get the message.

The Chi Delt sisters are continuing to haze Elena. Ralph is starting to get upset because it seems like Elena is going to extremes just to be a Chi Delt. Neil and Sissy are getting closer, but Sissy is getting angry with Belinda. She tells Belinda that she will never have the chance with Neil and than yells at Belinda for starting the rumor. She even yells at Belinda for never talking about her love life (hint hint: she's probably a lesbian). Anyway, Neil and Sissy spend time rehearsing and they even have a kiss. Neil says he wishes that Sissy were straight. Meanwhile, Belinda and Mandy are talking about coming out experiences. Sissy and Neil continue rehearsing and Neil is really feeling her. Sissy has to leave really quick, and Belinda comes in. Neil tells her that he is into Sissy.

Belinda tells Sissy about what Neil told her about how he's in love with Sissy. Sissy tells Neil that she is not gay, but Neil gets angry that she lied to him. He leaves and Mandy comes by. Sissy apologizes to Mandy for possibly leading her on. Mandy tells her it was ok and that she should just talk to Neil. Later, Belinda apologzies to Mandy for starting the rumor. Mandy gets a little pissed, and then Belinda asks her how it feels like to be openly gay. Mandy says it's great and whatnot and basically, Belinda blurts out that she basically is gay too. Belinda starts to help Mandy into her costume and asks her to go to the cast party with her. Sissy lets Neil know that it was unfair of him to only hang out with gay girls and that she should get a second chance. They kiss and make-up and decide to go to the cast party together.
