L'équipe Golden Time continue à s'attaquer à la criminalité. Elle répond à une menace d'attentat à la bombe dans le métro, mais Kyeong-hak n'est pas sur les lieux.

Convaincue que son suspect n'a pas agi seul, Gwon-ju réfléchit à sa prochaine action et à la meilleure façon de maîtriser l'imprévisible inspecteur Kang-u.

Un prédateur sexuel récemment libéré est accusé d'un enlèvement. En route vers la scène du crime, Kang-u croise un homme qui pourrait être celui qui le hante.

Un suspect en détention meurt apparemment d'une crise cardiaque. Plus tard, Kang-u reçoit un message du véritable cerveau criminel, toujours insaisissable.

Kang-u et son équipe se mobilisent pour sauver l'épouse de Park d'un kidnappeur, mais ils se heurtent à une autre unité qui cible le même homme.

L'équipe Golden Time commence à enquêter sur le chef Na, mais lorsqu'un membre fait preuve d'un zèle excessif dans sa recherche, ils alertent involontairement leur cible.

Un vidéoblogueur populaire jure avoir rencontré un zombie, qui s'attaque ensuite à d'autres personnes. Sceptiques, les enquêteurs se mobilisent pour découvrir la vérité.

Na sème la suspicion dans l'esprit de Gwon-ju, lui racontant le passé de Kang-u et ses épisodes d'amnésie. Eun-su est menacée par un ex-copain.

Alors qu'Eun-su est soupçonnée d'avoir joué un rôle dans une agression au couteau, l'équipe arrête des suspects et trouve des preuves qu'il y a un autre complice.

Des indices suggèrent que Na est en danger. Plus tard, un homme blessé ressemblant à Kang-u est repéré en train de s'éloigner en boitant d'une scène de crime sanglante.

Exempté de tout soupçon, Kang-u révèle son passé douloureux à Gwon-ju. Plus tard, le véritable tueur en série attaque Seo-yul et lance un ultimatum à Gwon-ju.

Je-su se rend, ce qui conduit à un face-à-face intense avec Kang-u. Une intervention inattendue de Je-su propulse Gwon-ju et Kang-u dans l'action.

Hong Soo catches Kang Woo interrogating Burying Beetle at Port Poongsan. While trying to stop Kang Woo, Burying Beetle gets away. However, not everything is for naught, as Kang Woo now knows a clue related to Wire Shun. Meanwhile, the Golden Time Team gets a call from a man saying someone drunk or high has beaten him up.

A man suspected of being Wire Shun, Fujiyama Koichi, is located at Club Blackhole. Although Kang Woo chases after him, Fujiyama gets away. Moreover, the police lose Jin Sik while he went to the bathroom. After inspecting the bathroom, Kang Woo suspects someone has kidnapped Jin Sik. Meanwhile, Cho Rong searches more about Fujiyama and comes across important information on Kang Woo.

While searching through the area, the perpetrator makes Kang Woo turn and attack Kwon Joo. She confirms that Kang Woo is unstable and asks him to turn his gun and police badge in. The Dispatch Team finds the dead bodies of Fujiyama and his henchman. Kang Woo suspects there is someone else who controlled Fujiyama and believes this case is far from over.

The team arrives at Dr. Hwang’s Clinic and apprehends Choo Dong Goo, who has been causing a scene. Dong Goo claims Doctor Hwang hid his soon-to-be wife, Se Mi, and something horrible has happened to her. Although Kang Woo said he wouldn’t meddle in today’s case, he spots blood in the operation room. He realizes something is off and thinks Se Mi got kidnapped.

Yukiko’s husband, Kaneki Masayuki, seems like an amazing professor loved by his students who stand up for human rights. Kwon Joo and Kang Woo come across him while checking on Fujiyama Koichi’s autopsy. Meanwhile, Goto Naomi, a worker who worked for Yukiko, finds a camera installed in one of the paintings that recorded the day Yukiko got murdered.

Soon after Naomi brought the painting and the camera, she gets killed. Her body was displayed just like the painting she had brought which makes the Golden Time Team think it was done by someone related to Auction Fabre. Meanwhile, Kang Woo quits his job and tries to go after the perpetrator by his way.

While searching the Blackhole Club, Hong Soo gets ambushed and abducted by one of Kaneki’s henchman. Thankfully, even while his hands are tied, Hong Soo gives the team some information. With the information, the team locates where Hong Soo is. Kang Woo gets to the location before the team arrives and goes after the abductor.

Hong Soo gets tortured and murdered by Jeon Chang Soo. Due to this incident, police headquarters decide to disband the Golden Time Team. The team, however, gets a few days to catch the real owner of Auction Fabre. Meanwhile, Kang Woo is going solo and tries to figure out why Professor Kaneki is so obsessed with him.

Dispatch Team heads over to the location Kang Woo confined Chang Soo. But when they arrive at the place, Chang Soo is found dead. Meanwhile, Kang Woo is trying to find out about Kaneki’s past and goes to an old maid that worked at the Kaneki household in the past. The information the maid gives is rather shocking and makes Kang Woo remember his past.

After obtaining Kaneki’s cellphone, the Golden Time Team locates where Kaneki went frequently. There, the team finds Congressman Makio along with the rotting bodies. But not long after such discovery, poisonous gas starts fill the building up. Meanwhile, Kaneki is heading over to his hideout, and the team thinks he is stowing away to Japan.
