《親愛的初戀》啟發自 2018 年同名青春同志愛情電影，聚焦全新角色少年維克特（Victor）的故事。描述身為 Creekwood 高中的新生，維克特正面對著種種難題，包括自我探索、家庭挑戰、適應新城市和性取向的掙扎。當他對這一切感到無法負荷時，他聯繫了西蒙來幫助他走過高中生活的起起伏伏。
