Numa estranha hospedaria isolada, o proprietário misterioso contrata funcionários para que possam receber hóspedes em busca de abrigo. Numa noite de tempestade, aparecem várias pessoas, entre elas um grupo de hippies, um casal de adúlteros, um suicida, um gigolô e alguns empresários corruptos. Na manhã seguinte, os hóspedes desavisados descobrem a verdadeira identidade do dono da hospedaria. Mojica, bastante atarefado, pediu a seu discípulo Marcelo Motta que dirigisse o filme, mas acabou se encarregando de algumas cenas. Embora o personagem Zé do Caixão apareça no prólogo, Mojica interpreta um personagem totalmente diferente no resto do filme.

Filming inside the asylum brings back childhood memories for Iris, memories of sneaking into the asylum with her friends to shoot homemade horror movies. Little does Iris know, her life is about to imitate her art.
