Après avoir entendu ces mots venant de Reo Shinozaki, son rival, Kensei Maeshima a décidé d'arrêter sa carrière de patineur artistique. Plusieurs années après cet événement, Maeshima est à présent un lycéen qui se sert de son talent physique pour aider les différents clubs mais sans réellement s'engager.
Un jour, il apprend que Shinozaki, son ancien rival, décide de passer du patinage en simple au skate-leader.
