Elk jaar komt een groep sprinkhanen naar de mierenhoop om het voedsel op te eten dat de mieren voor hen verzameld hebben. Op een dag, als de voorbereidingen voor dit offer net zijn afgerond, gooit Flik per ongeluk het gehele offer in de rivier. De sprinkhanen geven de mieren een tweede kans. Flik gaat op zoek naar andere insecten die mee willen vechten tegen de sprinkhanen, maar hij komt terug met een circuscrew. Losjes gebaseerd op Kurosawa's "Seven Samurai".
Haru beleeft een doodnormale schooldag, maar wanneer ze met een vriendinnetje naar huis loopt gebeurt er iets merkwaardigs. Ze redt een kat die bijna werd overreden door een auto, en tot haar verbazing staat het dier op en bedankt haar. Haru is perplex maar haar moeder herinnert haar aan een vergelijkbaar voorval van toen ze nog klein was. 's Avonds blijkt er een processie van katten op straat plaats te vinden.

The films were assembled by a film collector who did public screenings of cult films; he often showed this compilation under the moniker “Stoner’s Night Out”. NCADI is the information service for the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention of the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. The PSAs that comprise this film combine footage of drug use as well as interviews. Overall, this film warns of the short-term and long-term effects of drug use with the later segments of the film focusing on marijuana use specifically.
