Då Mavis och Johnny reser iväg för att besöka den mänskliga delen av släkten, en kulturkrock utan dess like, sätter därför Dracula sitt barnbarn i monster-bootcamp. Och som saker och ting inte vore illa nog, bestämmer sig Draculas vresige och väldigt, väldigt gammalmodiga pappa Vlad för att plötsligt besöka hotellet.
