《科里奥兰纳斯》由莎士比亚的作品改编。原作发生在古罗马时代，大将军科里奥兰纳斯战功累累，却因为倔强的脾气被放逐。科里奥兰纳斯因此纠结过去的敌人进攻罗马帝国，最后他终于被自己的母亲说服，却因此献出自己的生命。电影版把背景搬到了现代的伊拉克战场，“伏地魔”也变身成大将军科里奥兰纳斯。
