Den 10 April 1912 stävar Titanic ut från hamnen i Southampton på sin jungfruresa. I första klass, med lyxrestauranger, swimmingpool och promenadstråk, bor 17-åriga Rose i en skyddad värld, styrd av stränga moralregler och familjens förväntningar.
