It's a peaceful day at the local poultry farm until Foxy Loxy happens along intent on a chicken dinner. He takes the advice of a book on psychology by striking "the least intelligent" first and convinces dim witted Chicken Little the sky is falling. Chicken Little spreads the word but when head man Cocky Locky proves the story to be false, Foxy Loxy spreads rumors that Cocky Locky isn't the smart chicken he appears to be, which leads to the ultimate undoing of the chickens at the hands of Foxy Loxy.

A Bing Crosby lookalike comes by with a stroller full of sons, and Eddie asks for his secret; he demonstrates by crooning to a chick, who lays dozens of eggs with boys names on them. Eddie croons to his wife, but in a higher pitch, then dances out singing the theme song to other caricatures. The egg hatches, but in answer to Eddie's question, is it really a boy? "Mmmm... could be."

Двоє курчаток відразу ж йдуть у путь шукати Бабу-Ягу, аби попросити її звільнити від чар журавлика, бо це несправедливо. Дорогою вони зустрічають лисицю та вовка, які перевдягались у Бабу-Ягу з однією метою — з'їсти їжу, яка до них сама прийшла. Але курчаткам вдається впізнати злодюжок і засудити фразою «Це ж не справедливо». Врешті-решт обоє знаходять Бабу-Ягу, яка свій дім перетворила на дитячий садок для звіряток. Вона змогла згадати закляття, яке вже давно забула, лишень тоді, коли курчатка заспівали їй веселеньку пісеньку. Баба-Яга втішилась і сказала їм закляття. Так справедливі курчатка звільнили журавлика і він полетів у теплі краї. А лисиця й вовк, побачивши це диво, подумали: «А може, ми теж зачаровані?..»
