重案夢幻組馬加斯（馬田羅倫斯飾）及米高（韋史密夫飾）闊別八年後再度聚首，被調派往邁阿密調查毒品活動，並設法搗破販毒集團的地下交易。調查期間，這對最佳拍檔卻出現了不少磨擦，不過，最令馬加斯看不過眼的是米高竟然情陷他的妹妹斯迪。米高是個出名的花花公子，馬加斯最疼錫這個妹妹，見到她與這個花花公子搭上，他怒不可遏，大大影響這個夢幻組的合作關係。到底這對出生入的拍檔最終能否公私分明，合力破案？
