En profetia lägger ett helt land i evig vinter. Den orädda optimisten Prinsessan Anna måste därför slå sig samman med den våghalsige bergsmannen Kristoff, och tillsammans ge sig av för att hitta Annas syster, Snödrottningen Elsa och få ett slut på den iskalla förtrollningen. På vägen möter de extrem kyla och mystiska odjur, och får kämpa mot naturens element för att rädda sitt kungadöme.
Äntligen får vi möta Elsa och Anna igen. Den här gången ger de sig iväg från Arendal på en äventyrlig resa för att ta reda på mer om sitt förflutna, som visar sig vara fyllt av mysterier.
