12 évvel ezelőtt egy kilenc farkú rókadémon(Kyuubi) tartotta rettegésben a Hidden Leaf falut (Konohagakure). A szörny rengeteg ember mészárolt le, azonban a negyedik Hokagenak, saját életét feláldozva, sikerült elzárnia őt egy újszülött fiú testébe. Ez a fiú Uzumaki Naruto volt.
