När Mark Evans förlorar sin mor blir smärtan outhärdlig, och han skickas därför till sin kusin Henry för att få annat att tänka på. Men snart upptäcker Mark att det är något väldigt märkligt med Henry, hans sinne för humor är både ond och dödlig. Och när det gått alldeles för långt, så får han det svårt att intala Henrys mor om att det är sant.

A wealthy former mental patient goes home to her estate to rest and recuperate. While walking the grounds one day she hears the screams of a woman coming from underneath the ground. In this sequel to the made-for-television Disney family classic, Mr. Boogedy, the Davis family deals with the return of Mr. Boogedy and his never-ending hunt for Widow Marion as well as a rival gag-store competitor who really has it out for Carleton. Meanwhile, the town of Lucifer Falls is planning a big carnival which the mean Mr. Lynch seeks to ruin- if Boogedy doesn't see to that first.
