Een uniek portret van het beertje Youk dat door een ongeluk zijn moeder verliest. Youk trekt alleen de wijde wereld in en maakt kennis met de reusachtige mannetjesbeer Kaar. Samen proberen ze te overleven in de overweldigende maar gevaarlijke natuur, en Youk leert met vallen en opstaan hoe een beer altijd op zijn hoede moet zijn.

Natuurdocumentaire die zich afspeelt in de wildernis van Alaska. De sociale diergemeenschap van beren wordt op de voet gevolgd middels een groep filmmakers die bivakkeert in het afgelegen landschap, waar de grizzlybeer in het wild leeft. The end of the 1950s. The Chinese passenger plane, following the Beijing-Moscow flight, enters a thunderstorm and makes an emergency landing in the Baikal region. In addition to the Soviet citizen Varvara Komarova, all other passengers are foreigners. Using a stop, they explore new cities and get acquainted with the life, work and rest of Soviet people.
