Dexter Reed is down on his luck after another one of his inventions fails. Ed welcomes Dex back to Good Burger with open arms and gives him his old job back. With a new crew working at Good Burger, Dex devises a plan to get back on his feet but unfortunately puts the fate of Good Burger at risk once again.

Derrick is a struggling law student who takes a job as an awards show seat filler to make ends meet. One day, he is seated next to the beautiful pop superstar Jhnelle, who mistakes him for a well-known industry executive. With an instant chemistry, the unlikely pair begin to date.

Claire's number one priority is her family. When her husband Dennis loses his stockbroker job, the couple's traditional family roles switch. As Dennis takes on his new stay-at-home role, Claire's furniture design business takes off. Lake, a young theater actor with no respect for the elderly, is forced to make himself look old, in order to land a part in a Broadway-bound play. His ego drives his girlfriend away, and when research for the play requires him to spend a week in a nursing home, he is forced to review his life choices. Lake eventually learns to abandon his preconceptions and rid himself of the anger that has been holding him back, in pursuit of his dreams.

This comic drama examines the relationships and addictions of a group of twenty-something friends with very dysfunctional, yet interesting lives.
