Mee joo is a little girl from the Ahka hill tribe community in Thailand's most northern region. The Ahkas are still a self-sustaining community. A youthful NGO arrives at her village to build a small community TV station. All programming is to be about the village with the NGO planning ultimately to have the villagers produce their programs. The little girl is interested but there is a bit of commotion.

But does the industry live up to its own promises?In this investigative film, director Miki Mistrati tries to find out, if the chocolate industry – which is one of the largest corporations in the world – speak the truth, when they say that they provide education, medical care etc for the children of the Ivory Coast. But the project runs into trouble already from the get-go, because the embassy of the Ivory Coast won’t let Miki enter the country until he has an invitation – from the chocolate industry.

Bikes for Africa is an entertaining, insightful and moving documentary following the life adventures of Hap Cameron and Mandy Todd, and their attempt to help implement a self sustainable bike workshop in rural Namibia with a container load secondhand donated bikes from Melbourne. The film investigates how a bicycle can fundamentally change the lives of rural Africans, and brings to focus the great works of two-wheeled charities Bicycles for Humanity and the Bicycling Empowerment Network Namibia.

A Year of Hope is about life on the streets of Manila. You will hear the horrible stories of Pablo, Justin, and some of the other boys. Thankfully their lives change during their year in Stairway Foundation. It's an NGO located on an island in the Philippines far away from Manila. They're there to get a proper education, eat nutritious food, have fun, and be introduced to new things. But sadly even in a place like Stairway, the gruesome streets of Manila are still lurking in the backs of the children's minds.

Peter Westerveld, artist and visionary, doesn’t want institutions to resolve the problems linked to earth’s problems. Growing up in Africa, he witnessed the advance of the desert and dedicated himself to finding solutions for the ongoing erosion and desertification of the land. The film follows Peter and the NGO working with him to realise his project; to build contour trenches that capture and store rain water under the surface and replenish the desert land.
