Jejich nespoutaná jízda životem však má svoji konečnou zastávku, a tou je dospělost. Během slavnostního odpoledne, kterého se oba účastní se svými rodinami, potkávají Luisu, vdanou osmadvacetiletou Španělku, a začnou ji svádět s nadhledem a lehkostí, která odpovídá jejich povahám a věku. Jen tak z legrace pozvou svou osudovou ženu na výlet na nádhernou pláž Boca del Cielo; přitom ovšem nemají tušení, zda takové místo vůbec existuje. Luisa navštíví lékaře, který má pro ni špatné zprávy. Žena následně příjme nabídků překvapených mladíků, a všichni tři se spolu vydají na cestu. Možná nevědí kam dojedou, ale určitě na tuhle jízdu nezapomenou. Zbytky přátelství a chlapecké nevinnosti totiž mizejí ve zpětném zrcátku.
