Im Winter 1941 hat die Wehrmacht große Teile der Roten Armee bei Wjasma eingekesselt. Die verschneiten Wälder sind voller Partisanen und Deserteure. Heftige Gegenwehr bekommen die deutschen Soldaten von einem Scharfschützen (Aleksey Shevchenkov), der plötzlich auftaucht, mehrere seiner Gegner erschießt und schnell wieder verschwindet. Die Deutschen nennen ihn „das rote Phantom“. SS-Hauptsturmführer Braun (Wolfgang Cerny) und sein Tötungskommando haben den Auftrag, den Scharfschützen auszuschalten. Der mysteriöse Rächer aber ist den Deutschen stets einen Schritt voraus. In einer Holzhaussiedlung steht der Showdown bevor.

The role of the first 21 women elected to the Constituent Assembly on 2 June 1946, and their contribution to the writing of the Italian Constitution.

In November 1936, a few months since the beginning of the Spanish Civil War, the government of the Second Republic moves to Valencia. In this situation, several Valencian artists and intellectuals decide to build four fallas — satirical plasterboard sculptures created to be burnt — to mock fascism.
