A reflection about growing up

The 2016 Broadway Revival of William Finn's Tony-winning musical. It tells the story of Marvin, a Jewish family man who leaves his wife and son for a male lover during the height of the AIDS crisis in 1980s New York City.

Twenty-something June is anxiously awaiting the outcome of her most recent job interview. One day, when her friend goes on a vacation out of town, she is left all alone in their apartment . This overwhelms her as feelings of loneliness, isolation, and envy begin to creep up on her, putting her in an unhealthy state of mind. "Wala" is a story of growing pains. It's about the moment of uncertainty in everyone's young life. It's about how the wait can sometimes lead you down completely unexpected paths.

Hiraeth is a short film about youth long gone, about growing up, about looking at old photos and not recognizing the person within. It’s about the sacrifices we make, the past selves we kill, to move forward, to survive.

A foreboding glimpse into the life of a girl under pressure from her parents concerning her eating behavior and childish tastes. Ignoring the family festivities, her parents ditch her for a day, leaving her in the care of a neighbor. The girl will regress to the events that have hurt her. "Rabbits have been a symbol of childhood ever since Lewis Carroll's portray of a certain elusive character, but it is in the interpretation of each psyche that it takes a more perpetual shape. In my analysis of its symbolism, the rabbit expresses a female childhood at an age close to puberty, along with the desire to leave the bonds; perhaps a virginal consciousness that remains in the symbol of rabbits to this very day."
