第1季 被稱為「災難戰爭」的大戰結束後約三百多年... 地球圈失去了以往的統治架構，改由新的支配體系建立了全新的世界。雖然帶來了短暫的和平，但是距離地球很遠的火星圈卻有著新的戰火正在蔓延。 主角三日月・奧格斯所屬的私人保安公司克里斯警衛保安公司（以下為：CGS），接受了一名想讓火星都市克里斯從地球獨立出來的少女─古荻利亞・藍那・伯恩斯坦的護衛任務。然而CGS卻遭到負責消滅所有叛亂分子的武裝組織-加拉爾號角的襲擊，於是公司的高層利用三日月等小孩作為誘餌開始撤退。少年的領袖澳加‧伊祖卡就趁機向過去欺壓他們的高層發動政變。受伊祖卡所託的三日月駕駛著一直作為CGS動力之源，也是「災難戰爭」時代的MS高達巴巴托司，挺身而戰。 第2季 主角──三日月‧奧格斯所屬的鐵華團，護送古荻利亞・藍那・伯恩斯坦到地球時，在亞布羅代表提名選舉的戰鬥中一躍成名。那場戰鬥同時揭露了加拉爾號角的腐敗；情況雖不明顯，但世界正因此而著實地改變著。 因為和亞布羅的談判取得了半金屬使用權，再加上成為了提華茲的直系組織，鐵華團的資金因而更為充裕，希望入團的人數也隨之增加。其規模已經龐大到足以在地球設立支部。 另一邊廂，因地球之旅了解到世界實際情況的古荻利亞，設立了亞多莫斯商會。在實質的層面上，從旁以火星的經濟獨立為目標而努力。與此同時，仍有許多人對於他們推動改革的道路而感到不滿。 亞多莫斯商會進行半金屬採礦場的視察，而擔任其護衛的鐵華團團長──澳加‧伊祖卡查覺到來自新敵人的襲擊。在澳加的指揮之下，駕駛著「高達巴巴托司狼式」的三日月連同鐵華團一同擊退敵人。
Yuuichi Katagiri believes that friends are more important than money, but he also knows the hardships of not having enough funds. He works hard to save up in order to go on the high school trip, because he has promised his four best friends that they will all go together.
