以賣座喜劇《麻辣女王》讓珊卓布拉克重返票房高峰的導演唐諾畢屈，再度推出他拿手的愛情喜劇《絕配冤家》。電影由《成名在望》金球獎最佳女配角凱特哈德森及《愛上新郎》馬修麥康納領銜主演。 安蒂安德森（凱特哈德森飾演）是柯夢波莎雜誌的兩性專欄作家，這天她接到一項很不尋常的任務，必須在很短的時間內交稿。雜誌女主編要她先親身體驗，然後再寫下女人該使用什麼絕招才能在十天之內成功地把男人甩掉。於是她便開始尋找一個單身男子，讓他愛上她，然後犯下各種男女交往時最常犯的錯誤，最後把他逼得只能落荒而逃。這簡直是個完美計畫，只可惜安蒂的實驗對象是一家廣告公司的帥哥主管班傑明貝瑞（馬修麥康納飾演），他也正好跟老闆為了爭取接下一個重要廣告主的業務打賭，而他必須在十天內讓一個女人真正地愛上他。這段各懷鬼胎、虛情假意的露水戀情到底能不能通過真愛的考驗呢？

Tommaso can't believe his eyes and answers her in private to learn more.
