7–9-ojo dešimtmečių Vakarų paaugliams Džango vardas buvo susijęs su 1966 m. italų režisieriaus Sergio Corbucci spageti vesternu „Džango“, kurio pagrindinis herojus – už sužadėtinę keršijantis kaubojus. Jį suvaidino gražuolis Franco Nero. Savo laiku šis filmas peržengė visas ekraninio žiaurumo ribas. Todėl ne vienoje šalyje rodyti „Džango“ buvo draudžiama.
