Clearly this is a Canadian feminist film so I wasn't too surprised at the blatant misandry which made the plot very predictable, but I was hoping there would at least be some interesting stuff going on here.
Nope. Just another "men bad, women oppressed" misandric wankfest. It also suggests the "life" of an AI is more valuable than a human, as long as that AI is female and the human is male. Imagine how much punishment you put your smart phone through, and then imagine that smart phone rose up and killed you and that was seen as a good thing as long as the phone was a lady phone.
