The very first horror movie I ever saw. It holds a certain place in my heart, because it set me on the path to many decades of enjoyment, via horror and sci-fi.
One of the best atomic horror films from the 50's. The best being the original Godzilla. The sounds effects in Them were really creepy. I haven't seen the film in years but I still remember the sound the ants made.
For a Halloween movie viewing night I bought this movie on DVD back in 2002 to show my 7 & 8 year old a sci-fi horror movie. I popped it into the player, served up some snacks and we started watching. After we watched for about 5 minutes my son started asking me what was wrong with the TV. I asked him what he meant. He said that the color was broken!

Watching it right now, I'm about an hour in and wondering how many more times I'll be reminded that James Cameron rips off other movies...!

Typical slasher flick except for who the killers were.
