Many years ago, hundreds of locals and tourists were massacred by giant man-eating sharks in the infamous 1916 Jersey Shore attacks. But that's just a legend... or is it? It's a holiday weekend on the Jersey Shore and, unbeknownst to anyone, underwater drills have attracted dozens of albino bull sharks to the pier. When a man goes missing, TC (The Complication), Nookie and friends fear the worst and plead with the police chief to close down the beach. It isn't until a famous singer is eaten alive during a performance on the pier that the shark hunt begins. Now, the Preppies must work together with the Guidos in order to save the Jersey Shore and its inhabitants from another vicious slaughter.

Ve městě Jersey se konají přípravy na oslavu Dne nezávislosti. Pláže jsou naplněné k prasknutí a v tu chvíli dojde k prvnímu útoku žraloka. Mladík TC se pokouší s kamarády varovat lidi ve městě. Ví, že hrozí žraločí masakr, ale nikdo ho nebere vážně...

La légende raconte qu'en 1916, sur les côtes du New Jersey, des requins ont attaqué des centaines de vacanciers... Mais, comme pour toutes les légendes, peu de gens y prêtent attention. De nos jours, pendant une chaude journée d'été, une bande d'amis profite de la plage. Cependant, l'un d'eux disparaît. La police, alertée, ne s'en inquiète pas beaucoup. Il faut la mort d'un célèbre chanteur, dévoré par un requin lors de son concert, pour que les autorités mesurent le danger...

Ünnepi hétvégére készülnek Jersey Shore-on. Amit azonban senki sem sejt a közeli víz alatti fúrás több tucat cápát vonzott a part közelébe. Mikor egy férfi eltűnik TC, Nookie és barátai attól tartanak, hogy megismétlődnek a sok évvel ezelőtti szörnyűséges cápatámadások mikor több tucat embert mészároltak le a cápák. Hiába könyörögnek azonban a rendőrfőnöknek, hogy zárja le a partot. A cápavadászat csak akkor kezdődik mikor egy híres énekest előadás közben a színpadon felfal egy cápa. Vajon hőseinknek sikerül megakadályozni egy újabb tragikus cápatámadást!?
