Funny scene, but I just find it unrealistic that no one else noticed her doing that.

I thought exactly the same thing!! How did no one else not notice her movement in the chair, not to mention she was facing the judge and others. Totally unrealistic but very funny nonetheless.
Thats the point of the movie it's a satire on all those true murder stories and a really good one since it parodies them including the stupid court house scene.
