I love the first movie, in fact, it's my favorite Disney movie. And I do appreciate the "attempt" in making this film but it's really sad how it turned out. The story line could have been soooo much better, the animation sucked and the songs were just plain terrible. And what makes me mad is that pretty much all the same voice actors (who are pretty big stars) were willing to come back and do this movie. And it sucks for them how much they wasted their time on it. With having those big, famous actors back, you would think Disney would have put a little bit more time and effort into the movie.

I'll actually admit that I don't hate this movie, but more dissapointed. I do like the fact they gave Quasimodo a girlfriend and gave him a more a happily ever after. In fact, I think the basic storyline isn't that bad. But I was extremely dissapointed in the way it turned out, animation wise and song wise. 'Ordinary Miracles' was a decent attempt, but I felt sorry for Tom Hulce, because those note intervals were just random and difficult to sing. And the lyrics in I'll Stick With You?! OMG....talk about horrible! That had to be the worst song in the movie.

I bet if it was made now, it would have turned out better, since the Disney sequels are actually very well made nowadays. Bambi 2, Mulan 2, Brother Bear 2, etc were great because of the animation, storylines and songs are well done. Maybe if Hunhback 2 was made now, it would be up to par with the rest. I'm very passionate about the first Hunchback and love it so much. I only hope IF they decide to do 3rd movie (which I doubt), or perhaps the rumored live-action version, more time and effort will be put into the project. I think it would be interesting to se Quasimodo as a father. (unoriginal I know, but hey, almost every Disney sequel deals with parenting) I don't think Disney realizes how big the HoND fanbase is. To me it seems really big. And I hope that one day, they will make a special edition DVD of the first one. It should have been made this year since it is the 10th year anniversary. But maybe one day it will.

I didn't mean for this to be so long, but I just had to share my feelings about this. Does anyone else care to share how they feel?
