The 2nd half of the movie is great but the beginning with Rambo bonding with the Taliban is a slog.

I get confused between 2 and 3 as to which scenes were in which films... both were dumb 80s action flicks, but at the same time fun and cartoon-ish in their silliness and that appeals to me, much like Commando or many others of the time and genre. First Blood is easily the best film, and (John) Rambo (4) is a good film, but was way too violent for me to be actually entertaining and gain anywhere near as many re-watches as the other Rambo films... So I'd probably rate them in the order they were released from favourite to least...
