The blonde kid in this movie would have been perfect casting for Guybrush Threepwood, but Geena Davis would have been a little too old for Governor Marley!
Too bad, I don't think it'll ever get made now, most would think Monkey Island is a knock-off of Pirates of the Caribbean.

loved this freaking movie, we watched it several times over the years--Its the best Pirate movie ever made save for the Johnny Depp ones, action-packed, and beautifully done, one of the best movies of the 1990's
