The bridge scene was so disturbing

Imagine being on the road at night when a truck comes up ripping your car to shreds with a chainsaw and the weilder wearing a human suit. No where to turn or go and get help.

I concur. Considering that the first film never really showed the gore, it was pretty shocking the first time I saw this scene and Leatherface sawed the guy's head diagonally!
