Armageddon is excrement.

Armageddon is awesome!

Come on... Not that I've got anything against Armageddon. But Con Air is way better.

Armageddon finishes with Bruce Willis pulling that cheesy switcheroo with Afflick, telling him he loves him - "I love you Ben Afflick, you take good care of my daughter now...".

...And as if that wasn't enough, Bruce Willis' giant portrait appears at Afflick's wedding as Aerosmith plays arguably the greatest power ballad of all time. What's not to love about that?

However, Con Air's bunny daughter / Hummingbird meeting and How do I live is right up there as well.

Steve Buscemi plays the same character in both films!

Armageddon is better with the schmaltz, yeah. But Con Air is way better with tension and action. There are long sections in the second half of of Armageddon where it's hard to tell what's going on.

Aileen Wuronos was a serial killer. She was played by Charlize Theron in the film Monster.

I love both movies but Armageddon is better.
