Overview

在希臘神話中，海克力士是宙斯假扮成底比斯國王與國王的妻子生下的孩子，他經歷過誤殺家人的悲劇，為了消除罪業而完成十二項任務後，決定遠離天神並在血戰中尋求慰藉。五位死忠的追隨者跟他一起周遊列國，以傭兵服務換取黃金，而有著類似際遇的他們，根本不在乎要去哪、跟誰戰鬥，只在乎能獲得多少獎勵。鄰國的色雷斯國王正打算將這群傭兵變成自己的手下。而當統治者和公主央求海克力士幫忙攻打強大的軍閥時，他再也無法仗著這些傳說招搖撞騙，他必須試著相信自己的傳說，成為人民所期待的英雄。
