I've seen a few, but this did not feel like a John Ford film. Bordering on zaney at times, there are some really kooky characters to be sure, like the infantile Dude, who is, let's just say, defective. I read that the film is tame compared to the book. I liked it though and as with most Ford films there are some beautiful shots. 7/10
