It's ironic that he turned down RotJ because he feared he'd lose creative control to the producer and then suffered the same fate with Dune.

Interesting. Whoever made it essentially took images from the actual film and just Lynch-ized them, making them more bizarre. He's one of my favorites, so this is a treat.
